Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The service is provided by TurtAI. For anything related to these Terms, contact us at suporte@turtai.ai.

2. What the service is

TurtAI offers short challenges about using AI at work, automatic AI evaluation of your answers, a skill indicator (AI Score), experience points (XP), levels, day streaks, achievements and a leaderboard.

Evaluations are generated by AI models and are meant for learning. They may contain mistakes and do not replace professional, legal, financial or medical advice.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, use it with the permission of your parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for your account information and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

Each account is personal and non-transferable.

4. Plans and payments

Free plan: no charge, with the initial test, AI Score and up to 3 challenges per week.

Pro plan (monthly or yearly): a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. It unlocks the daily challenge and the other Pro features.

Lifetime plan: a one-time payment that unlocks Pro access for as long as the service is operated, including new challenge seasons.

Prices are shown before purchase, in your region's currency, and may include taxes depending on your location. We may change future prices; changes do not affect periods already paid and will be announced before your next renewal.

Payments in Brazil are processed by Mercado Pago. Outside Brazil, orders are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our authorized reseller (Merchant of Record) and is responsible for billing, receipts and tax collection for those purchases; in those cases, Paddle's buyer terms also apply.

We never receive or store your card details.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid and the subscription does not renew.

You can request a full refund within 14 days of any charge. Details are in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for illegal purposes; try to access other people's accounts or data; game limits, the leaderboard or the points system; copy or resell challenge content; submit offensive or discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights; or overload, probe or attack the service's infrastructure.

Do not include sensitive personal data, trade secrets or confidential information about you or others in your answers.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

The challenges, texts, evaluations, brand, mascot and software of the service belong to TurtAI or its licensors.

The answers you write remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them (including through AI providers) solely to evaluate them, show your progress and improve the service.

8. Leaderboard and sharing

By default, your short name (first name and last initial), XP and streak appear on the leaderboard. You can leave the leaderboard at any time in your profile.

If you share your public link, anyone with the link will see your short name, level, AI Score and achievements.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the service available, but it may undergo maintenance or interruptions. We may add, change or remove features. If we shut down the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice.

10. Liability

The service is provided for educational purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on evaluations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer living in another country, the consumer protection rules of your country still apply. Disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence.
